What we collect

YardCalc is a static website with no user accounts. The numbers you type into the calculators are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers or stored by us.

Cookies and local storage

We store a single value in your browser's local storage to remember your cookie-consent choice. Beyond that, cookies are only set by the optional third-party services below, and only where they are enabled.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, using Google Consent Mode. Until you accept cookies in the consent banner, analytics runs without cookies in a limited, cookieless measurement mode. You can decline consent at any time and the site works identically. Advertising

We may show ads served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads; where required, ad personalization is controlled by your consent choice. You can learn more and adjust ad settings at Google Ads Settings.

Some pages contain clearly marked affiliate links (for example, to Amazon). If you buy through such a link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The merchant may set cookies on its own site to attribute the referral.

Hosting logs

Our hosting provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and request URLs) to operate and secure the service, as described in the provider's own privacy documentation.
